November 12, 2008 Mr. Charles Collins Vision Dynamics 470 West Main Street Cheshire, CT 06410 Dear Charlie, Thank you for your wonderful presentation to our 'Westchester-Fairfield Chapter on October 4. As you know, the mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness is to fund scientific research for the prevention, treatment, and cure of retinal degenerative diseases. Through our national network of volunteer chapters, we provide educational opportunities to our members to learn about low vision services and products that are available 10 their local communities. In addition to telling your inspirational, personal story, you spoke of the many ways in which an appropriate low vision product can make a tremendous difference in a person's life. From a very simple "talking" watch or magnifying glass to a flat screen magnifier, you gave hope to our chapter members. Suzan Converse, the mother of a pre-teen daughter with Stargardt disease, said the following about your presentation: " ....extremely inspiring and it took much of the mystery and fear away for my for my daughter's future."
