Saturday March 12th was one of the busiest at the
convention! Jacqueline and Ruth shared information with the OTs and

patients. Many of the OTs were impressed with the variety of items and
technology now available to the visually impaired to help them live
more independent lives. All who stopped at the Vision Dynamics booth

On November 3rd through November 5th some of our Vision Dynamics team was at the NEAER Convention in Rockport Maine. Charlie was a speaker and touched on the idea that seeing with our eyes is a common misconception, we do not see with our eyes, we see with our brains. Through his personal story, and an exercise with the guests, he focused on the positive and the philosophies that you can learn to see.

Connecticut Association of Optometrist Exposition

Connecticut Association of Optometrists 2010 –
Groton, CT
The weekend of September 25th Charlie
Collins, Dr. Kinkade and Tracy Andrews travelled to the Mystic Marriot in
Groton, CT for the 2010 Connecticut Association of Optometrists Show. At
the Vision Dynamics booth, exciting products such as the Optelec
ClearReader, Aumed Aumax LCD CCTV, high contrast keyboard and lighting
were featured. The doctors were very pleased and extremely grateful to
have the Vision Dynamics team explain and demonstrate the products. After
visiting the Vision Dynamics booth the doctors were hopeful and excited
that the products will enhance the quality of life of their patients and
give their patients more independence.

Vision Dynamics had a booth this year at The Rhode
Island Parent Information Network Expo (RIPIN). RIPIN provides
information, support and training to help all Rhode Island residents
become their own best advocate at school, in healthcare and in all
areas of life. The Vision Dynamics team had their booth set and ready
with assistive technology to help the visually impaired. Many people
came to visit our booth and ask questions regarding our products. Our
staff was eager to demonstrate new items, help inspire individuals and
share knowledge on living with low vision. Charlie was also the
keynote speaker and gave a compelling motivational talk about
overcoming a disability, living independently and succeeding in life.
He touched the audience with his honestly about his own experiences
and made them laugh with his wit and humor.

Back in April the Vision Dynamics Team was
invited to provide staff and residents at Southington Care with
information about our products and services that would allow them to
enhance their quality of life. Jacqueline and Tracy ran a booth that
gave people a chance to have hands on interaction with many items and
provided information regarding Vision Dynamics.
Charlie shared his experiences about living with low vision, gave
inspiration and hope regarding living independently through assistive
technology. After his talk he also answered many questions from the
audience. He made an impact on several of the clients and was glad to
have been able to share thoughts and words of encouragement to
individuals with low vision.
