Raised six children, four of whom are legally blind since their early teenage years. As a family we knew the struggles that were faced during school years and later in adult life due to vision loss. Using adaptive technology was a big help to our children. In 1997 I joined my son Charlie who was starting Vision Dynamics, a retail store specializing in adaptive equipment for the blind and visually impaired. I have worked in this field for over twelve years and it is very satisfying knowing you are helping visually impaired and blind individuals realize their potential to be independent and enjoy life.
