Hi, my name is Molly E. Collins and I work at Vision Dynamics. I am married with 2 children. I worked as a social worker for 13 years in the elderly population. I enjoy helping others and watching them gain independence. Living with a legally blind person has its challenges and rewards. When we first started to date and I introduced him to my family and friends, it was difficult to explain “legally blind”. After so many years of marriage, I still find it a challenge to explain his vision or “how he sees”. I have learned and accepted that I will be “the driver” of the family. We have adapted our home to meet some of his challenges, light being one of them. There is never enough light for him. Technology today has given the low vision population their independence. It is very rewarding being able to help and serve those in need.
