Dolphin’s Guide HandsFree is an all-in-one software suite with built-in large print, speech, and Voice Control/Dictation for people with low vision or who are blind and would like to work hands-free, using their voice. It has been specifically designed to be easy-to-use and easy-to-learn.
The Voice Recognition features of Guide HandsFree are powered by Dragon Naturally Speaking. Now you can control Guide’s functions and dictate text with your voice, all with large print and speech access!
Working with Guide Hands-Free allows you to use your voice instead of the keyboard to dictate text, and to control Guide. You can make menu selections, create e-mails or letters, and control all of Guide’s functions, simply by speaking!

- A minumum of 1GB Memory (RAM)
- 1GB free hard disk space
- Windows 2000, Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, or Windows Vista™ (32-bit)
- Creative® Labs Sound Blaster® 16 or equivalent sound card supporting 16-bit recording
- CD-ROM drive (required for installation)
- A Scanner for using the OCR application
- Headset with a microphone (For Guide Handsfree ONLY)
- Dragon Naturally Speaking software Version 9 or above (For Guide Handsfree ONLY
