The Mountbatten provides students and teachers with a complete Braille learning center suitable for the very first stages of Braille instruction through to high school and beyond. The Mountbatten enables a visually impaired student to learn and compete in the least restrictive environment, learning and communicating written language skills right alongside sighted peers. Not to be left behind, the visually impaired student learns Braille in the context of the core curriculum using the Mountbatten to support the achievement of individual educational goals.
